Wrinkle Review and Article Summary:

Wrinkles and skin slackening can be our most obvious signs of the passing of time i.e. aging from a biological viewpoint.  However, they also reflect the psycho-neuro-endocrine-immunological (PNEI) vision of the human being:  in other words, the skin is the main target of one’s psychological experiences during the somatic-psychic process, whereas it is the starting point of organic wounds that will eventually become the “soul scar” during the psychosomatic process.  Skin is a mirror to the soul and every wrinkle reflects a person’s troubles, anxiety, and pain.
The beauty of the face has been always connected with a smooth, glowing, and youthful skin.   Nowadays, regardless of religion, ethnicity, social class or level of education many of us feel compelled to exorcise the signs of aging.  It is our society that guides us towards plastic surgery, which is not always completely successful or may leave patients less than satisfied.
So why do we wrinkle why does skin age?  There are two theories “programmatic” programming of cell death; and “degenerative” which is the aging process is dependent on exogenous factors (especially photo-aging  of the skin) and endogenous factors (hormonal and immunological factors) synergistically these cause a series of metabolic failures and alterations in molecular synthesis.   A perfect example of this is wrinkles around eyes.  The is a reduction in collagen type 1 synthesis that is clearly linked to age, but UV radiation, and the subsequent production of free radicals causes a drastic reduction in elastin and collagen storage.
We must remember that as the skin does not have its own muscular structures; it is the contraction of the muscles below it that determines its shape.  As time passes, dues to changes in elasticity and tone, the skin can no longer relax and the marks of muscle contraction become etched on the skin and gradually get worse.
For more than 5 years, the homeopathic remedy MADE (Guna, Milan) has been an effective alternative to conventional pharmacologic treatment.  In an observational study involving 681 patients (male and female) from 1998-2003, MADE proved good therapeutic efficacy and tolerability in the homeo-mesotherapeutic treatment of skin slackening as well as all types of wrinkles, especially periocular and perilabial wrinkles.  The best results were observed in patients aged 30-40 years and 40-50 years of age.
GUNA MADE and Collagen can be used to treat facial wrinkles and skin and neck laxity via Mesotherapy (small intradermal injections) or applied topically after a Microneedling treatment.
